The Vladimirou Lab is based at the UCL Cancer Institute and the CRUK Lung Cancer Centre of Excellence, at University College London.
Our lab is investigating the mechanisms that ensure accurate chromosome segregation and how these are deregulated in disease. We adopt a fully interdisciplinary approach combining cell biology, live cell imaging, machine learning, image analysis and data-driven stochastic modelling.
Current focus areas
- Chromosomal instability initiation using lung cancer as a model system
- Chromosome dynamics and segregation mechanisms
- Role of PI3K signalling on microtubule and chromosome dynamics
